
March is Sleep Awareness Month. Life Full Yoga, 20 Wall St in Madison joins participants from over 72 countries in a global call to action about the importance of sleep. Friday, March 17, 2017 is the 10th annual World Sleep Day. Created and hosted by World Sleep Society, World Sleep Day's 2017 theme is Sleep Soundly, Nurture Life.Life Full Yoga will offer classes with a special focus on poses that promote better sleep, guided relaxation, and a Yoga Nidra (Yoga Sleep) workshop as part of Sleep Awareness Month. The National Sleep Foundation recommends yoga as a proven way to help people get a better nights sleep."Yoga’s relaxing poses and stretches, as well as the calming breathing exercises that accompany them, may be especially helpful if stress is what’s keeping you from falling asleep.
