This Sunday morning at my church, we will do what is happening at Christian churches throughout the world. We will begin the season of Advent. Advent is a wonderful and unique time to prepare for Christmas in ways so different from that to which we are exposed on television and through other media.
I wish to encourage all readers who celebrate the holiday of Christmas to really consider making this Advent a special season in your life. In our church, we will be encouraging each other to SLOW DOWN and to SAVOR and ENJOY these weeks that lie ahead.
May YOU find the peace, hope, love and joy that is the HOPE and the EXPECTATION that comes with Advent.
