1 Displaced After Tuesday Fire At Manchester Home
A fire broke out at a home in Manchester Tuesday.

MANCHESTER, CT — One person was displaced in a house fire in Manchester Tuesday, fire officials said.
The fire broke out at 3:03 p.m. at 163 South Main St.
Firefighters encountered flames in the basement and smoke in the house and initiated "an aggressive interior fire attack" that brought things under control quickly, officials said.

Firefighters also searched the home. No injuries were reported.
The Manchester Fire Marshal's office is investigating the cause and the American Red Cross has been assisting the displaced resident.
