10 New Vehicle Charging Stations Proposed For Buckland Hills Mall
The Shoppes at Buckland Hills in Manchester could get a bunch of new EV stations.

MANCHESTER, CT — A leading electric vehicle charging station company wants to put 10 new display-screen units at the Shoppes at Buckland Hills Mall.
Manchester planning officials said Tuesday that a special exception permit has been applied for.
Volta Inc., a national electric vehicle charging and media company has teamed up with the national design firm Kimley-Horn for the project, according to the plans.

Volta is known for EV charging stations installed at locations like Cinemark Theatres, Giant Food, Kohl's, Stop & Shop, and Tanger Outlets.
Volta tends to locate its EV charging stations steps from the front entrances of "popular commercial properties" to "improve convenience for drivers and maximize the number of shoppers influenced by Volta’s digital media screens."
