21-Year-Old Killed In 3-Vehicle Crash In Manchester: State Police
The ID of the victim has been released.
MANCHESTER, CT — A 21-year-old Manchester woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash on I-384 Friday night, state police said.
A 2021 Chevrolet Equinox was traveling on Interstate 384 Eastbound, east of the Exit 1B on-ramp, in the right/center lane of four at 10:23 p.m.
A 2018 BMW was traveling adjacent to the Equinox in the left/center lane.

A motorcycle was traveling behind the Equinox in the right lane.
"For an unknown reason, the operator of (the motorcycle) struck the rear of (the Equinox)," state police said in a report. "Following this collision, both riders on (the motorcycle) were separated from the vehicle. As they were sliding on the highway, the passenger of (the motorcycle) was struck by (the BMW).

Both the driver and the passenger on the motorcycle sustained injuries as a result of the collision, state police said. They were transported by a third-party vehicle to Manchester Hospital.
The driver of the motorcycle sustained suspected minor injuries.
The passenger of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision, state police said.
Sariah Isabelle Miranda, 21, of Manchester, was subsequently pronounced deceased. This case remains under investigation.
