“25 Years of Working Together”
Joe,
Hello! We hope all is well with you! I do have a question in regards to prequalifying for a mortgage, yes again. I would like to know how much Keri and I qualify for? We have been toying with the notion of moving closer to our eldest son and the grand kids. You will be doing their mortgage next year as well. I currently earn 74,413 yearly and Keri 42,000. We would most likely sell our house as well. I am curious to know. Always appreciate your help and advice.
Kelly
They were disappointed that they could not qualify for a property that they were interested in. I gave them some coaching as to what they would need to do to qualify for that price range of home they wanted.
I gave them estimates as to what a mortgage payment would be and they realized it was above their comfort level.
I am much more interested in the client’s comfort level for mortgage payment rather than how much they qualify for. They would have had to skimp in many ways to buy this particular home. Now they have a much more realistic idea.
