
Internationally renowned sculptor Susan Wakeen and W.C.S.U. Art Gallery Curator Melissa Ralston-Jones have selected an outstanding exhibit of two and three dimensional art work on view at Arts Center East June 12th through July 9th.
The Best in Show Award went to Steve Wilda for his acrylic painting, Coffee Break. Karen Israels’s pastel, Passenger, received the First Place Award. Second Place honors went to Barbara Groff’s still life, Irma’s Nest. Suzanne Kirschner’s india ink on paper, Bar Code, captured Third Place. The Merit Award was won by Donna Caplin’s assemblage, Diversity.

Honorable mentions were awarded to Sharon Chaples acrylic painting, Strong Farm #2, Susan Zurles wood sculpture, Gaea, Corinne Denucci’s oil painting, A Moment of Rest and Dan Nichols oil painting Still Standing and his watercolor Friends.
