3 Charged in Year-Old Fatal Crash in Manchester
Three have been charged in connection with a nearly year-old fatal crash in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, CT — Police have charged three people in connection with a fiery May 20, 2017 crash in which three people died after a car hit a utility pole, records show.
Law enforcement and court records show those charged as:
- A juvenile for first-degree manslaughter, first-degree assault, third-degree assault and first-degree reckless endangerment.
- Shakira Rivera, 25, for insurance and registration violations.
- Gustin Douglas, 24, for first-degree reckless endangerment, tampering with a witness, interfering with police, reckless driving and racing.
Devon Smith, 17, William King, 18, and Bernaria Mickens, 21, all of Manchester, have been identified as the victims.

The car was traveling eastbound on Center Street around 1:20 a.m. Saturday when it crashed into a utility pole.
