“A Realtor and His Success After All these Years”

I have worked with Joe for many years, he used to have his own real estate company. He probably had a dozen agents and eventually sold the company to one of the folks that worked for him and remained with the company for a few years and then eventually went to work for another company.

We get together for lunch every month. He continues to tell me, he has no boundaries for his clients, if it means traveling an hour or two, he will do it. If it means looking at one home or 50 homes, that is his commitment to his clients. He did tell me that he once showed clients 63 homes before he sold them a home, he is very patient. I did do 13 different preapprovals for one of his clients, until they finally had an agreement to purchase a home.

His focus was very simple, less transactions, but larger ones. He is very happy doing 1 to 2 transactions per months. His average sale in 2013 was $462,000 and just slightly lower than that in 2014. For as long as I know Joe, he gets 100% of his business from referrals.

These two Joes have worked together for many years and most likely will for many more. Neither one of us do change very well, when it comes to relationships.
