The Academy Hosts a Trial for their Jedi Training Program

The Academy is excited to announce the next Jedi Trial, a pivotal event in the unique "Jedi Training" program, set to take place on September 14, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. Twelve Adult and Youth students will be testing their skills and knowledge in hopes that they can succeed in earning their next belt rank.

The Jedi Training program is a dynamic and innovative course that merges martial arts, acrobatics, gymnastics, parkour, and self-defense with the beloved universe of Star Wars. Where else can you get an amazing workout while learning how to use a Light Saber? This unique program not only enhances physical abilities but also nurtures vital life skills such as confidence, self-worth, mental fortitude, mindfulness, respect, responsibility, and a strong sense of community support.

Students in the Jedi Training program embark on a journey where they learn more than just agility, strength, and self defense skills. The curriculum is designed to instill a deep sense of self-discipline and personal growth, drawing inspiration from the Jedi way to foster a supportive and resilient mindset. Participants are empowered to excel both physically and mentally, preparing them to meet challenges with the strength and wisdom of a Jedi.

The Jedi Trial on September 14 will be a comprehensive test of students' skills, endurance, and fortitude. The event will feature a series of rigorous challenges designed to evaluate their agility, balance, hand-eye coordination, self-defense techniques, and sword work, reflecting the breadth and depth of their training. This trial not only signifies their progress in the Jedi Training program, but also their growth as confident and disciplined individuals.
