MANCHESTER, CT — A Rhode Island company that bills itself as "the leading Suboxone treatment organization" is poised to enter Connecticut with a center in Manchester.
Providence-based Recovery Connection Centers of America currently has locations throughout New England and lists a center in Manchester as "coming soon"on its website. Work at the Center Plaza strip mall has been ongoing since the winter and state records show that a Certificate of Need from the state Office of Health Strategy is on file.
A Chinese restaurant, a smoke shop, a barber shop and a liquor store are already at the plaza.

The company specializes in addiction services and mental health. Recovery Center signs are already up.
The plans in file in town call for an investment of $250,000 to the facility, including equipment and a staff of at least four.
