Adult Day Care Facility Proposed For Manchester Parcel
A building currently for lease in Manchester could be transformed into an adult day care center.

MANCHESTER, CT — An adult day care center has been proposed for a building located in a commercial district just off the Buckland Hills area of town.
Municipal planning officials said that a Zoning Board of Appeals application has been submitted that requests a Special Exception Permit to allow an adult day care center at 199 Adams St. The area is already home to restaurants, car dealerships, offices and some industrial sites.
The building at 199 Adams measures 9,052 square feet and sits on a .38-acre parcel. It is currently for lease.

The plans include building and parking lot improvements. A "passive outdoor recreation" area would also be included at the site.
