Age Group Records Set At 2022 Manchester Road Race

The Manchester Road Race not only featured an overall record in 2022, but age group records as well.

MANCHESTER, CT — In addition to the course record of 21:04 that was set by open champion Conner Mantz, three other records were set by runners at the Manchester Road Race on Thanksgiving Day.

Andrew Colley, who finished fourth overall last Thursday with a net time of 21:06.202, broke the prior record of 21:28 in the men's 30-39 age group that was previously held by John Gregorek.

Chris Chrisholm's time of 26:40 was a new record in the men's 60-64 age bracket, eclipsing Russell Blatt's old mark of 27:56.

In the men's 80-84 division, Hal Bennett set a new standard with a 41:05 effort. His time broke the old record of 41:30 that was held by the late Bill Tribou.
