Albert Carlin, 79, Long-Time Manchester Resident

Albert “Al” T. Carlin, 79, the beloved husband of the late Nyla Jean (Desilites) Carlin died Wednesday, Dec.10 at his home in Manchester.

Al was born in Manchester the son of the late John and Anna May (Pennery) Carlin and lived most of his life in Manchester. He graduated from Howell Cheney Technical School in 1954 and had worked for many manufacturing firms.

He is survived by his children Donna Meredith of Florida, Cheryl Winton of Nebraska, Donnie Parker of South Carolina, A-Lynn Lawrence of Vernon, E-Lisa Carlin of Windsor, Sean Carlin of Enfield, eighteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his sons Albert and Allan, his brothers William, Dennis, and John, and his sisters Kay Machie and Mary Palmer. Funeral services will be private. The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester has care of arrangements.
