“All the Old Photos go with the House”

I had a purchase agreement accepted on a home that I’m buying to flip. This is an estate and the home is filled with stuff and as part of the negotiations the purchase was contingent on us buying the property with all the stuff, which is not that uncommon when it comes to some estate sales.

As we went through the negotiations I asked about all the photo albums, if someone wanted them and was told absolutely not, none of the kids care about the old photos. I spent a few minutes looking through the albums as I went through the property. Lots of family stuff, so it was a little shocking when word came back that no one wants any of the photos.

Not sure why, but stuff like this bothers me. Once I take title I’ll find if there are any kids and contact them and offer to send the albums out.

Would your family say they would care of the old family albums?
