Alternative High School Accepting Enrollments

Path Academy Windham accepts students from Tolland, Vernon and Manchester, among other towns.

Path Academy Windham, a free alternative public high school that helps overage and under-credited students and former students to graduate, is accepting enrollments for the 2015-16 school year.

The school accepts students from Coventry, Tolland, Vernon, Hebron, Bolton, Manchester and Windham.

Path Academy Windham Principal Brooke Lafreniere said the high school accepts former students up to the age of 21 who have previously dropped out. The high school also accepts current students who may be considering dropping out.

“It’s a high school education and a chance to earn a degree and to move onto college, and it’s created at a pace designed by the individual student,” she said. “We have space available right now and welcome new enrollments through the end of September.”

Students and/or their parents can enroll at Path Academy Windham by calling 860-336-4200, registering online at www.wlndhampathacademy.org or at the school at 832 Main St. in downtown Willimantic.

Path Academy Windham opened in 2014 and graduated its first class in June.
