MANCHESTER, CT — A Manchester CT Lottery player bought one of the most expensive scratch tickets available and won one of the state's most lucrative prizes.
On May 6, the unnamed player claimed a $2 million prize in the Fabulous Fortune game. The game is barely a month old, having debuted on tax day of this year.
The ticket was purchased at the Mobil station at 1016 Killingworth Road in Higganum.
Tickets for the game cost $30 and the top prize is paid as a $2 million, 20-year annuity or a one-time gross cash option of $1,500,000.
