Pohl also praised this year’s honorees and their contributions to Manchester.
“This year’s honorees – John, Beth, and Rev. Pawelek are people who deserve our respect and gratitude,” Pohl said. “They are remarkable citizens who care about the future of this community, about the well being of all our citizens, and about the quality of life we can all lead here.”
The annual celebration centers on recognizing local service and civic involvement. This year’s honorees come from different parts of the community, including law, education and faith leadership.
