MANCHESTER, CT — It's revaluation time again in Manchester.
Some Manchester property owners may see a visit from a data collector as part of the town's 2026 revaluation work, according to information shared by the town. The notice says only a small percentage of properties can expect an in-person visit.
The town said visits are more likely at properties where a home was purchased recently or where permitted work was completed over the past couple of years. The shared notice states, "A small percentage of properties can expect a visit from one of our friendly and professional data collectors, particularly if you have recently purchased your home or have had permitted work over the past couple of years."
For residents who are not sure whether a visitor is connected to the town's revaluation effort, Manchester provided several ways to check. The town directed residents to an online verification page with information about the data collectors. It also said residents can call the Assessment Office at 860-647-3016 to confirm whether a visitor is part of the process.
The town's notice also says Manchester Police have the same information available for verification.
