MANCHESTER, CT — It's now three big CT Lottery wins in two days out of Manchester.
Two Connecticut Lottery players cashed in winning tickets on June 23, including a $100,000 top-prize winner and a winning Powerball ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery Corporation.
A resident of East Hartford claimed a $100,000 prize after playing 50X The Cash game. The winning ticket was purchased at the filling station at 196 Spencer St. in Manchester.
In a separate win recorded the same day, a Manchester resident claimed a $50,000 prize after holding a winning Powerball ticket purchased at Big Y World Class Market in Manchester.
A Rhode Island resident the day before claimed a $20,000 prize from a Connecticut Lottery scratch ticket purchased in Manchester.
According to the Connecticut Lottery, a winner from Foster, RI, accepted the payout on June 22 after playing the 20X Cash 10th Edition scratch game.
That $20,000 represents the top prize in the $20 game.
Lottery officials said the winning ticket was purchased at the Mobil station at 240 Middle Turnpike West in Manchester.
