MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester logged 70 new business registrations in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. Residential landlords led the way with seven filings, followed by trucking and moving companies and service businesses.
Among the new arrivals were Urban Lodge Brewing - Storrs, a brewery, Falcetti Music, a dance studio and GORKHA GRIDDLE, a full-service restaurant. All but four organized as limited liability companies; the exceptions were a professional LLC, two corporations and one other entity.
Registering with the state doesn't necessarily mean a business has opened its doors — the paperwork can come well before or after a launch. The full list, with addresses and business categories, is below.
