Manchester Announces Road, Parking Lot Closures For Construction

MANCHESTER, CT — Two Manchester locations will be affected by construction projects beginning this week, according to the town.

Bidwell Street will be closed between Hartford Road and Ramey Drive beginning Tuesday for about 30 days while crews install a sewer main.

The town said detour signs have been installed to help residents navigate around the closure area.

Separately, the Salters Pool parking lot closed Monday for an estimated six to eight weeks while the parking lot is reconstructed.

Access to the pond will remain available during the parking lot construction, the town said.
