• Manchester Road Race Again Giving Vets, Military Members, Special Recognition On Thanksgiving Morning (patch.com) — Manchester's famed Thanksgiving Day Road Race will again spotlight veterans and active-duty military with a special Veterans Row tribute along Main Street. Registered service members and veterans can attend a pre-race reception at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, receive commemorative pins, and be honored as they run the course through downtown Manchester. Organizers expect thousands of participants for the 90th running of this hometown tradition.
• Starbucks closes two Connecticut stores as part of nationwide restructuring (ctpost.com) — Manchester residents lost the Starbucks at 350 Buckland St. in The Plaza at Buckland Hills as part of a nationwide restructuring, but three other locations in town remain open. The company says it is closing underperforming stores while retrofitting many others, and Manchester customers can still visit Starbucks on Demming Street, Spencer Street, and Buckland Hills Drive.
• Win Tickets To See Street Fighter Movie With Buck N Regg! (audacy.com) — You can win a family four-pack of tickets to see the Street Fighter movie at Parkade Cinemas & Entertainment in Manchester on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, by listening to Hot 93.7's Buck N Regg show this week. Winners must have an email address and a smartphone with a ticketing app to receive and use their tickets, and standard station contest and health-related rules apply.
