• Manchester man drove himself to hospital after being shot in leg, police say (ctpost.com) — Manchester police say a 39-year-old man who was shot in the leg on Wetherell Street Tuesday night managed to drive himself to the hospital and is recovering well. The shooting happened near Connecticut State Community College Manchester, which was not involved, and officers are asking anyone with information to contact the department as no arrests have been made.
   

• CTDOT Plans to Perform Minor Pavement Rehabilitation on I-84 in Manchester (ct.gov) — Drivers in Manchester should expect future construction on I-84, where CTDOT plans concrete pavement repairs, ramp work, and possible short-term off-peak detours between the Hockanum River and Slater Street. Design is slated to finish in March 2027, with construction anticipated to begin that fall using state funds, and residents are invited to share questions or concerns with the project engineer.
