Antoinette Kenefick, 90, Lifelong Manchester Resident
Calling hours are Tuesday, Jan. 13, from 5 to 8 p.m.; the funeral will be at 9:45 a.m., Wednesday.

Antoinette (Zito) Kenefick, 90, of Manchester, beloved wife of 53 years to Dr. Edward J. Kenefick Jr, passed away Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at Manchester Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Kenefick was born Nov. 3, 1924, in Manchester, daughter of the late Vito M. and Julia (Pugliese) Zito and had been a lifelong resident. She graduated from Manchester High School, Class of 1943, and was a communicant of St. Bridget Church.

She was also an avid fan of the New York Yankees and enjoyed cooking, traveling, going to Saratoga, and summering at the beach with family.
In addition to her beloved husband, Mrs. Kenefick is survived by her loving family, a son Edward J. Kenefick III and his wife Susan of Coventry, three cherished granddaughters Danielle Kenefick, Nicole Kenefick and Stephanie Kenefick, a sister Frances Bartolotta, of Manchester, and several nieces, nephews, and their families. She was especially close to her niece, Mariann D’Antonio, and her nephews, Peter Bartolotta and Frank Zito and their families.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Matteo and Angelo.
Her family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Fenwood Manor for their compassionate care given to Antoinette.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, at 9:45 a.m. at Watkins Funeral Home, 142 E. Center St, Manchester, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, 80 Main St, Manchester. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manchester.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, Jan. 13, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
