Armed Robber Hits Manchester 7-Eleven

The clerk was threatened at the robber took off with cash, police said.

MANCHESTER, CT — Police are looking for an armed robber who barged into a local store and stole money.

At 4:33 a.m. on Wednesday, a knife-wielding bandit held up the 7-Eleven at 253 Main St. in
Manchester, police said.

The clerk was threatened with the weapon and the suspect was able to get away with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

The suspect is being described as a white male, between 25 and 30, weighting 150 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a blue jacket with a yellow lining, a black sweatshirt under the jacket with the hood pulled up, jeans and white sneakers with the letters “SC” on the back, according to police.
