Coastal Carolina University, Conway SC

  • More than 2,400 students at Coastal Carolina University were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. That's more than 23 percent of the student body earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Among those students earning a spot on the Dean's List was Benett Sullivan, a Theatre Arts major from Manchester.

  • Eastern Connecticut State University student Chelsy Popo of Manchester recently studied abroad in Greece. Popo majors in Political Science. The destinations she found most memorable were the Acropolis and the Parthenon in Athens, as well as the island of Crete. She also enjoyed visiting Meteora, a rock formation in central Greece that hosts one of the largest, most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries. She also enjoyed taking side trips to London, Paris, Budapest and Amsterdam.
  • Two Eastern Connecticut State University students recently presented posters at the American Historical Association (AHA) annual meeting in Chicago, IL, on Jan. 5. Among the students was Dana Meyer of Manchester, who majors in History.

Grove City College, Grove City PA

  • Luke Meier, a senior Computer Science major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean's List with High Distinction for the fall 2018 semester. Luke is the son of Donna and Wilhelm Meier from Manchester. Students eligible for the Dean's List have a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59; for the Dean's List with Distinction a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84 and for the Dean's List with High Distinction a GPA of 3.85 to 4.0.

Southern New Hampshire University, Manchester NH

  • Amy Sumsion of Manchester has been named to Southern New Hampshire University's fall 2018 President's List. Eligibility for the President's List requires that a student accumulate an academic grade point average (GPA) of 3.7-4.0 and earn 12 credits for the semester.
