Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT
- Twelve history students from Eastern Connecticut State University presented at the 2019 Connecticut State University Making History Conference on March 22. The conference was held at Southern Connecticut State University. Among the students were Shannon Healy of Manchester, who majors in History and Social Science. Healy gave a presentation titled "Re-tooling the Historical Methods Course." Also presenting was Dana Meyer of Manchester, who majors in History. Meyer gave a presentation titled "Connecticut Revolutionary War Deserters: An Experiment in Digital History." This is the fifth annual Making History conference. The majority of presenters were Eastern students, and a number of faculty who attended remarked on the high quality of Eastern students' presentations.

- Armani Turner, a Fashion and Retail Merchandising student from Manchester, presented work at the Lasell College Fall Connected Learning Symposium on December 4. Turner presented "Life Cycle of a Garment," based on group research conducted in a course on sustainability in the fashion industry.
