The Art of the Story Quilt
A fun, informative event on Take Your Child to the Library Day. Registration is required.
Saturday, February 6th at 2:30pm at Cheney. Learn the history of African American story quilts, with a focus on the work of Faith Ringgold. Children will also design their own original quilt square. This program, presented by Wesleyan University’s Green Street Teaching and Learning Center, is for children ages 4-8. The craft is for children only. Space is limited, so be sure to register!
