MANCHESTER, CT — A heckler and comedian got into it at a Manchester club on Friday and the audience member wound up with charges after a knife was allegedly used for emphasis in a threat, police said.
The clash was at the Hartford Funny Bone, located in the Shoppes at Buckland Hills mall, police said.
Arrested was Michael Perrone, 34, of Worcester, MA, police said. He is facing breach of peace and threatening charges along with an evidence tampering charge for allegedly tossing the knife, police said.

Perrone had been heckling the comic and the comic spouted back, according to a report.
Though he did not use it inside the club, police said Perrone had a knife and made threats with it while heading outside the establishment. A knife was not initially found on him, but mall security staffers located it in a nearby planter, police said. It had a 3 1/2-inch blade, police said.
