Big Y Express Continues To Take Shape In Manchester

MANCHESTER, CT — The new Big Y Express location in Manchester continues to take shape. The new store was quite apparent this week and some signs were even up.

The store is located at 176 Tolland Turnpike.

The plans were submitted back in October by the chain's parent company, Big Y Foods Inc. and calls for the construction of "a convenience store with associated gas station and related improvements." In other words, it's a mini Big Y, plus gas.

It is across Parker Street from the Big Y supermarket itself.
