Bob's, Customers Team Up For Special Olympics

Bob's cafe wasn't all about the cookies in the early part of 2024.

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester-based Bob’s Discount Furniture has matched donations from its customers and $38,600 has been donated to Special Olympics chapters across America.

Funds were collected in Bob’s stores coast-to-coast from January through March, 2024.

"We’re honored to donate to Special Olympics through our Café Collections for a Cause program," said Lindsay Ruszczyk, the director of communications and community outreach for the furniture giant. "We are grateful to every guest who contributed to this campaign, allowing us to support the communities where we do business."

Since 2014, Bob’s has supported Special Olympics through financial giving, surpassing $500,000 in donations to the organization. In addition to fundraising, Bob's employees have volunteered at Special Olympics events.
