Bob's Discount Furniture Recognized For 'Diversity'
The Manchester-based furniture giant has been recognized for its culture.

MANCHESTER, CT — The Manchester-based Bob’s Discount Furniture empire has reached a social milestone.
Company officials this week said that Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group have recognized Bob's Discount Furniture as one of "America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity." The award recognizes the impact and commitment of Bob's toward "fostering and celebrating a diverse and inclusive workforce."
As part f the process, Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group conducted a large-scale employer study based on more than 350,000 company reviews.

"We are so proud to be a company that serves a diverse range of communities and also hires, develops and promotes people from all backgrounds," said Pat Davies, the chief human resources officer at Bob's Discount Furniture. "Our team is committed to creating and maintaining a culture where employees feel valued, customers want to shop and where are community partners feel supported."

Through Bob’s Outreach program, the company attempts to embrace diversity and strive to "create more equitable and inclusive communities, giving everyone the same access to opportunities."
