Buckland Hills Movement Makes Way for New Retail Store

One existing business is moving across the parking lot and another is heading into the plaza.

MANCHESTER, CT — Building permits have been secured to allow Cost Plus World Market, a chain of specialty/import retail stores, to take over space on Hale Road in Manchester, a planning officials said on Monday.

The Kaud Oriental Rug business will be moving to the former Mattress Firm space and Cost Plus World Market will move in at that end of the plaza near A.C. Moore, Director of Planning and Economic Development Gary Anderson Said.

Cost Plus World Market features home furniture, decor, curtains, rugs, gifts, apparel, coffee, wine, craft beer, as well as several international food products.

Officials from broker Brixmor Property Group said Cost Plus World Market could open in the fourth quarter of 2018.
