“Buying a Home Directly from a Seller”
The sale for our house should be done within the next few weeks. Our contract says on, or before 4/13. Chris and I plan to start looking at different homes. We are not moving forward with the current property, the seller has been lying to us right along, you were so right. We can’t thank you enough for recommending the home inspector. That was a good investment for sure.
Can you tell me what the max conventional loan that we are pre-qualified for to help guide our search?

A wise man once told me “There is never a problem, unless there is a problem”. These folks found a great deal on the home they wanted to buy. They were so excited when they contacted me. The seller told them there was no reason to do a home inspection, but I convinced them otherwise and fortunately for them they listened.
It turned out there were a total of 28 potential issues and half of them were pretty serious. The seller told them they wasted their money, as he was not going to do any repairs.
They are now searching for a different home. Unfortunately, they may have to move in with their parents for a month or two, but it could have been much worse.
