Funny Bone Comedy Club & Restaurant

Mississippi native Karlous Miller grew up in a large blended family with eight siblings, shaping his sharp, unfiltered comedic style. Before stepping into comedy full-time, he worked as a firefighter in Oxford, Mississippi, but in 2005, he moved to Atlanta with one goal: making people laugh. Since then, he’s become one of the most dynamic voices in comedy today. Best known as a veteran cast member of MTV’s Wild ‘N Out with Nick Cannon, Karlous has built an impressive career across television, film, and digital media. He’s appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, MTV’s Joking Off, MTV2’s Uncommon Sense, BET’s Comic View, Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes, and HBO’s All Def Comedy. Kids &amp; Family Meditation Class, ongoing Sundays 9:30-10:30am beginning 10/4 at Odiyana Center, Glastonbury.
This family meditation class offers an&nbsp;easy introduction&nbsp;to Buddha’s teachings, emphasizing loving-kindness, respect for others, and keeping a positive attitude.
This class helps&nbsp;children and parents learn together&nbsp;to develop harmony and methods to calm their minds and be happy.&nbsp;
Classes include a guided meditation, a short Buddhist teaching, and an activity. During the activity, parents may have the opportunity to&nbsp;discuss how to apply Buddhist teachings to parenting.
These classes are designed for kindergarten through 5th grade. Older children are welcome to attend as mentors. A parent or guardian must accompany children.&nbsp;
Cost $5 Per Child – no one turned away for lack of funds. No cost for adults.

For centuries people have been mesmerized by the hypnotic sounds from these gentle, easy-to-play flutes. Whether you have a musical background or have always wanted to play a musical instrument this is for you. Practice flutes are available, or you may uupurchase one.

Armand and Angelina are a full-time Interfaith Musical Ministry. They have taught Native American Flute Playshops at over 500 Interfaith churches across the country.

Thomasina Levy, CT State Troubadour (05/06), is an award-winning songwriter, poet, and internationally recognized mountain dulcimer player whose performances weave together the best of traditional and contemporary folk music. She is a popular virtual workshop leader whose workshops frequently sell out. Her music has been aired in over twenty countries across the globe. Described as a charismatic performer, she touches audiences with a simplicity, humanity, and strength drawn from the deep roots of the folk tradition. Parallel Universe, her latest full length album, was co-produced with Grammy winning cellist David Darling and is on the Hearts of Space Records label. This instrumental album received a Silver Medal from the Global Music Awards in December 2018, as well as the 2019 NAMA Award for Best Song of the Year.
