Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University's Business Administration Department held its annual Delta Mu Delta International Business Honor Society induction on April 23 in the Johnson Room of the J. Eugene Smith Library. Among the inductees was Brandon Sylvester of Manchester, who majors in Business Administration. To Qualify for Delta Mu Delta members must hold a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 in the business administration major and be in the top 20 percent of their junior or senior class.
• More than 200 Eastern Connecticut State University students of African, Latino, Asian and Native American (ALANA) descent were honored on May 9 at the 2019 Inclusive Excellence Awards. All students who were honored achieved an overall GPA of at least 3.5. An additional 11 students were recognized for demonstrating exemplary co-curricular engagement at Eastern.
  Eight students from Manchester were honored with Academic Excellence Awards: Tyler Adorno, who majors in Pre-Elementary Education and Women's and Gender Studies; Nina Griffin, who majors in Pre-Early Childhood Education and Psychology; Dana Meyer, who majors in History; Kayla Palmer, who majors in English; Megla Patra, who majors in Psychology; Julia Luz Setzler, who majors in Theatre; Joyce Figueroa, who majors in Communication and English; and Rubaiya Sultana, who majors in Labor Relations/Human Resource Management.

Ithaca College, Ithaca NY

• Evan Morrison of Manchester graduated from Ithaca College with a BFA in Theatrical Production Arts in May 2019.

University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL

• Alexzandrea S. Harris of Manchester received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering degree from The University of Alabama, among some 5,716 degrees awarded during spring commencement May 3-5.

University of New Hampshire, Durham NH

• The following students from Manchester have been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the spring 2019 semester: Olivia Rood, High Honors; and Kella Psillas, High Honors.
