Car Fire Shuts Down HOV Lane in Manchester
A car fire shut down a section of Interstate-84 on Wednesday afternoon.

MANCHESTER, CT — A car caught on fire on Interstate-84 Wednesday afternoon and temporarily shut down the high occupancy vehicle lane through town heading toward Hartford, state police said.
The car was in the I-84 westbound HOV lane just before 2 p.m. near Exit 62 Manchester when it caught on fire, state police said.
State police were telling drivers to slow down because the lane was closed.
