On Aug. 8 at 6 p.m., Cavey’s Restaurant will be teaming up with Rose’s Berry Farm in South Glastonbury to bring you the best of Connecticut.
The tranquil and scenic setting, coupled with Cavey’s custom crafted menus and fine wines, is sure to be the best dining experience that new England has to offer.
The cost is $95 per person, not including tax and gratuity.
The evening will begin with a cocktail reception where guests will enjoy seasonal passed hors d’oeuvres with select sparkling wine or harvest cocktail and live entertainment on the patio.
Guests can expect tremendous views, good food, and great people whilst mingling and enjoying the atmosphere. For those more adventurous, there are acres upon acres of pristine farm to explore including Connecticut’s finest local fruit.
After the cocktail reception, guests will be seated to enjoy a 4-to-5 course dinner paired with carefully selected wines. The live entertainment will play on and off throughout the evening, supplemented by discussion of the local cuisine and the wines selected.
Guests will enjoy the best that the local farmers and fisherman have to offer, including local produce, beef, pork, fish, game, fruit, and dairy, depending upon what is fresh, and in season at that moment.
