CELTIC VESPERS AT ST. MARY'S

Free Concert of song and prayers, Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales. Candlelight service

On Sunday, February 28th at 7:00 p.m., St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 41 Park St. Manchester is offering Celtic Vespers, a service featuring prayers and music of Ireland, Scotland, England, and Wales. Christianity flourished throughout the British Isles for many centuries emphasizing a sense of God’s nearness and the love of creation (nature) as God’s gift. This candlelight service, steeped in tradition, invites one to enter into a place of rest, prayer and reflection and will feature music with Dave Giardina, guitar, Chris Payne, violin, Deborah Gemma, piano/organ and St. Mary’s choir.
