Channel 3 Kids Camp Celebrates with a Free Afternoon of Fun!

In the summer of 2015, Channel 3 Kids Camp, a year-round facility offering recreational and educational opportunities to Connecticut children for over 107 years opened new year-round child care center. Open Arms, a place where education and play go hand in hand, was created to integrate environmental appreciation into a traditional preschool curriculum. As with all Channel 3 Kids Camp programs, Open Arms is priced to be affordable without sacrificing quality and is fully accessible and inclusive.

The center is having a celebration on Friday, August 11 from 3 to 6pm. Included in the celebration will be Touch-A-Truck from 3-4pm. From 3-5pm will offer a bounce house, crafts, face painting, balloon artist and more. Tours of the facility, which is located within the picturesque camp grounds, will also be available. Following a short ‘graduation’ ceremony at 5pm, pizza, salads and cake will be served. This is a free event, open to the public but please contact Jana at 860-742-2267 or j.tierney@channel3kidscamp.org to let us know if you will be joining so we can arrange to have plenty of food.

Open Arms is located in a beautiful wooded setting at Channel 3 Kids Camp, off Route 6 in Andover Connecticut. The center welcomes children 15 months through 5 years old and operates year-round, including throughout the summer.
