Child Falls From Window At Manchester Apartment Complex

MANCHESTER, CT — A child was hurt after a fall from a second-floor window at an apartment complex in Manchester Thursday, police said.

The incident took place at 6:23 p.m. at the Squire Village housing complex on Channing Drive, police said. The fall was abut 15 feet onto a grassy area, authorities said.

The injuries, treated an an area hospital, were not disclosed by authorities. The 2-year-old "is going to be OK," police did say.

Police termed the incident an "unfortunate accident," with no criminal element to it.
