MANCHESTER, CT — The Cigna Group teamed up with Manchester Cycle Shop Wednesday to host teenagers from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford, who were able to pick out brand-new bicycles.

The event was made possible through a donation from Cigna. The teens selected the type and color of a bike and were fitted for a helmet. They were then able to watch the bikes being assembled at the shop before taking them home.

The opportunity to pick out a bike from a professional cycle shop was a unique experience for the club teens, who may not have had a bike or who had outgrown their previous bikes.

Cigna documented the entire experience with the help of a full production crew. While selecting their bike, the teens got to see how these professionals arrange cameras, lights and microphones to capture the scene.

Cigna's donation will also purchase bicycles for the Boys & Girls Club's Early Learning Center to teach its youngest members how to ride.
