Citizen Survey Part Of Manchester General Manager Search Process
Citizens of Manchester can take part in the general manager search process via a public survey.

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester officials have released a survey as part of the search for a new general manager.
After spending 15 years as Manchester's general manager, Scott Shanley officially retired from the job in July after announcing his intentions in March. The Board of Directors has now appointed a search committee and hired GovHRUSA to conduct the recruitment and selection process for hiring a new general manager.
A statement accompanying the survey said, "The Board and search committee believe it is important to solicit feedback from the community and organizations regarding the characteristics and traits the new general manager should possess as well as the opportunities and challenges they may face in that role."
