For many, the holiday season is all about spending time with loved ones. And for those suffering from diseases such as cancer - it can be a blessing and a curse.
It's a blessing to be surrounded by that love. But it's a curse for those who struggle to get by...and now have to find the energy and the time to make sure their home is ready for guests - on top of needing to find time just for their regular medical treatments.
That's why Maid Brigade of Northern CT is proud to support a program called Cleaning for a Reason. Since July of 2012, we've donated cleanings for 8 women with cancer. The program involves providing each person with 4 free cleanings while they are getting cancer treatment.
