Campbellsville University, Campbellsville KY

  • "Be kind and work hard, and I promise you amazing things will happen," Ashli Schmidt Watts, senior vice president of public affairs for the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, told a record number of 2,279 students who received degrees from Campbellsville University during three commencement ceremonies May 3 and 4. There were 2,011 students receiving master's degrees; 255 receiving bachelor degrees and 12 being awarded associate degrees in the May 3 and 4 ceremonies. Rajashekarreddy Rela of Manchester graduated with a Master of Science in Information Technology Management, and Suman Tankasala of Manchester graduated with a Master of Science in Information Technology Management

  • Eastern Connecticut State University's History Department inducted 22 new members into its American honors society Phi Alpha Theta. The ceremony was held on April 4 and recognized students with high academic performance within the department. Among the students inducted was Dana Meyer of Manchester. This induction was the largest in program history and included students who presented at the American Historical Association national conference, had their research published in undergraduate journals, were admitted into PhD programs and other achievements.
