Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Nearly 100 students are participating in Eastern Connecticut State University's highly selective University Honors Program this 2019-20 academic year. Among the students is
  Sophia Beland of Manchester, who majors in Biology. This is Beland's second in the program. The Honors Program accepts highly motivated and academically driven students. When accepted into the program, students are required to complete several additional classes, including a capstone course in which students complete a thesis based around their academic major.

Goodwin College, East Hartford CT

• Goodwin College's President's List for the summer 2019 session includes 230 students, all of whom scored a perfect 4.0 GPA. Honorees from Manchester are Erin Berk, Heather Boucher, Heather Breton, Amber Burney, Alexander Dellaripa, Benjamin Keyes, Leonardo Marquez, Kathleen Reaviel, Ashley Rico, Mary Cate Sipala, Martha Szpak and Jenn Zurowski.

Lasell University, Newton MA

• Alanis Perez-Rivera, a Fashion Communication & Promotion student from Manchester, is a member of the Lasell University Student Alumni Association (SAA). Perez-Rivera is an active member of the organization. The SAA is composed of student leaders ranging from first-years to seniors, each of whom engage with Lasell University's alumni community. SAA members are student leaders who seek opportunities to develop professional skills, and have a passion for Lasell's history and traditions with a commitment to lifelong engagement with the institution.
