Condo Facade Collapses In Manchester, One Hurt: Reports

Manchester fire officials are investigating the cause of the Wednesday night incident.

MANCHESTER, CT — A local firefighter suffered minor injuries Wednesday night after a portion of a condominium building collapsed, according to multiple reports.

WFSB Channel 3 reports the Manchester Fire Department was called to East Meadow Condominiums, 22 Thompson Road, at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

When they arrived, responders found the brick facade had collapsed onto some cars, damaging them, WFSB reported.

According to WVIT Channel 30, a firefighter was taken to the hospital for reported minor injuries and no one else was hurt.

The incident remains under investigation.
