CONNECTICUT BUSINESSES HELP RAISE MONEY FOR BOXING PROGRAM THAT HELPS PARKINSON'S PATIENTS

Always Best Care of Central Connecticut and October Kitchen helped raise more than $4,000 for a Parkinson's Boxing Program in East Hartford.

Always Best Care of Central Connecticut and October Kitchen helped raise more than $4,000 for the Connecticut Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association to support Rock Steady Boxing of East Hartford, CT. The program is a groundbreaking method therapy to combat the symptoms of the disease. Bare Bones Boxing in East Hartford hosts the program.

The money was raised at the Senior Promenade, which is the latest “Make a Senior Smile Campaign.”The event was held on April 16th at East Catholic High School in Manchester with more than 200 senior citizens in attendance. During the dinner/dance, students from East Catholic High School volunteered their time to serve dinner to the attendees. To see the sold-out event’s video,here.
