Groundhog Day is Sunday 2/2 and “Connecticut Chuckles” is already hard at work.
The official state groundhog has been consulting with meteorologists, examining satellite images, and reading her farmer’s almanac in preparation for the big day. Hundreds of people flock to the museum each year to hear the news straight from the groundhog’s mouth (with a little help from the mayor).
Our doors will open to the public at 6:00 AM. Coffee and breakfast foods will be available while we await the groundhog's arrival at about 6:45 AM.
